Montana Electric Cooperatives' Association Memorial Scholarship
Montana Electric Cooperatives’ Association will award four scholarships (one in each district) in the amount of $500 each. The scholarships are funded by individual contributions to the Memorial Scholarship Program.
In order to apply for the scholarship, applicants, parents or guardians must be a member of an electric cooperative and the cooperative must be a member of Montana Electric Cooperatives’ Association. All applications must be returned to the Goldenwest Electric Cooperative, Inc.
Applicants must return their application form, transcripts and letters of reference to their local cooperative by February 25, 2026. No later than 5:00pm.

Basin Electric Power Cooperative Scholarship
The Basin Electric Power Cooperative (BEPC) Scholarship program is offering two scholarships: a first-place award of $1,500 and a second-place award of $1,000 for a member consumer of GWEC. The scholarship must be used for educational costs, and the student must enter college in the fall of the school year for which the scholarship is given. Applicants must return their application form and transcripts of reference to their local cooperative by February 25, 2026. No later than 5:00pm.

Write about how your school/community/work activities have influenced your goals and career choice. Also, write about your future plans including your major course of study in college, what your career plans are, and where you would like to reside. This statement should be no more than one page.
ATTACH A COPY OF COLLEGE ENTRACT EXAM
Attach ACT and/or SAT scores.
Attach high school and/or college transcript.
LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
Attach one letter of recommendation.

2026 MARVIN ROBINSON MEMORIAL/GOLDENWEST SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Elorah Amsler has been awarded a $500 scholarship from Goldenwest Electric Co-op (GWEC). Elorah, the daughter of Jill and Jerry from Wibaux, currently attends Rocky Mountain College, aiming to graduate early with a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Science and a minor in Pre-Law. Her aspiration is to become a Certified Flight Instructor at Rocky Mountain College while working towards her Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, ultimately achieving her dream of flying for a regional airline.
Marvin Robinson Memorial/Goldenwest Scholarship- $1,000.00
Austin Gaub of Baker, MT has been awarded the 2025 Marvin Robinson Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00. He is the son of Greg and Christina Gaub and is planning to attend Sheridan College to pursue a Diesel Technology Certificate. Austin is actively working towards his objectives by completing Commercial Motor Vehicle and Hazardous Material courses at Miles Community College, with the goal of obtaining his CDL by August 2025!
